Her visit to Denmark (paperwork)

Private visit from the Philippines. This is a rough list only. Always match it to VFS and the official checklist before you apply.

1) For her (applicant)

Core documents

  • Schengen visa application (online, then VFS with biometrics)
  • Passport (still valid after the trip, blank pages)
  • One passport photo, Schengen size
  • Travel medical insurance for the whole trip, all Schengen countries, at least €30,000

Trip and stay

  • Flight reservation or booking (in and out dates)
  • She stays with you: host invitation (see host section)

Money / who pays

  • Bank statements or proof you cover the costs
  • Denmark often uses about DKK 350 per day as a guide; it can be less if she stays in a private home and you cover costs

Proof she goes back to the Philippines

  • Job: certificate, approved leave, payslips
  • Student: enrollment, proof she continues studying
  • Other ties: family, lease or property, money in the country. This part matters a lot for yes or no
2) For you (host in Denmark)
  • VU2 invitation. Danish Immigration recommends it. Online or PDF form.
  • Copy of passport ID page. If you are not Nordic, copy of your Danish residence permit too.
  • If they ask: proof you are together / that you have met in person.
  • If you pay for her: VU2 says who pays. Keep payslips or bank statements ready if they want them.
3) Where she applies (Philippines)

VFS Global for Denmark, private visit checklist. She usually brings:

  • Application, passport, photo
  • Insurance
  • Flight booking
  • Your VU2 and copies of your ID
  • Proof of ties in the Philippines (work or studies)

When you know her December entry date and whether you, she, or both pay, turn this into a dated “bring exactly this” list.
